Ingredients

The lobster tails

  • 2 pieces frozen lobster tails (6-8 ounces each)

The marinade

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • ½ teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped chives, sriracha, Creole seasoning, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper; mix well.
  3. Using kitchen scissors, cut the top of the lobster shell lengthwise and at an angle to loosen the meat but keep it attached at the fin end.
  4. Rub the lobster meat with the marinade mixture, ensuring all parts are covered, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Lightly oil the grill grate, place the lobster tails flesh side down, and grill for 8-10 minutes until the meat is pink and opaque, basting frequently with marinade.
  6. Carefully flip the lobster tails and grill for an additional 3-5 minutes until firm to the touch.
  7. Serve with your choice of sides.
