Ingredients

  • 1 lb jumbo lump crabmeat or lump
  • ½ cup Hellman’s Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Italian parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • to taste Old Bay seasoning (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Mix mayonnaise, egg, sugar, Old Bay, lemon juice, and parsley to create the imperial sauce.
  2. Gently fold the crabmeat into the imperial sauce, being careful not to break it.
  3. Place portions of the mixture in a baking dish or ramekins.
  4. Sprinkle the tops with Old Bay or paprika.
  5. Bake in a 350°F oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
