Instructions
- Slice the vanilla beans open lengthwise and scrape out half the paste.
- Place the spent vanilla beans in a clean jar and cover with vodka.
- Store the jar in a cabinet for a month.
- Check the aroma after a month; if it still smells like vodka, let it sit longer.
- When it has a strong vanilla aroma, it is ready to use. Top off with more vodka as needed.
