Ingredients

Beer Battered Cod

  • 1 lb cod fillets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beer
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • oil for frying vegetable oil

Clam Chowder

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 can chopped clams
  • 1 cup onion, chopped

Potato Latkes

  • 4 medium potatoes, grated
  • 1 large onion, grated
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying vegetable oil

Tartar Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp pickles, diced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp capers, chopped
  • 1 tsp dill

Instructions

  1. Prepare the beer batter by mixing flour, beer, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Dip cod fillets in the batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  3. Cook bacon in a pot, then add onions and potatoes to sauté.
  4. Pour in cream and add clams to the pot, simmer until thickened.
  5. Grate potatoes and onion for latkes, mix with eggs and flour, and fry until crispy.
  6. Combine mayonnaise, pickles, lemon juice, capers, and dill to make tartar sauce.
