Homemade Elderberry Syrup

Instructions
- Simmer elderberries, ginger, cloves, pepper, and water in a saucepan until boiling, then cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Let the mixture cool, then strain through cheesecloth, squeezing out all the juice.
- Mix in apple cider vinegar and honey, adjusting sweetness to taste, then bottle in a glass jar with an airtight lid.
