Ingredients

The chickpeas

  • 2 cans (15-ounce) chickpeas

The seasoning

  • 1–2 Tablespoons Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • to taste Seasonings of choice

Instructions

  1. Pat the chickpeas dry with paper towels and let them dry further on a lined baking sheet for 10-20 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F and transfer the dried chickpeas to a bowl.
  3. Drizzle the chickpeas with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, then toss to coat evenly.
  4. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  5. Roast the chickpeas for 25-35 minutes, shaking the pan every 10 minutes for even cooking, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Immediately season the chickpeas with your chosen seasonings and enjoy warm.
