Ingredients

The chickpeas

  • 1 can (15 oz.) chickpeas

The seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
  2. Drain and rinse the chickpeas, then pat them dry.
  3. Add the chickpeas to a rimmed baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and oregano.
  4. Toss the chickpeas to coat them evenly and spread them out on the sheet.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, then check and remove any dark brown pieces.
  6. Shake the pan and continue baking for another 10 to 20 minutes until crispy.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy.
