Instructions
- Slice one orange and the apple into rounds, discarding end pieces.
- Combine all ingredients except optional garnishes in a pot for stovetop or in a slow cooker.
- For stovetop, heat until just simmering, then reduce heat and cover to simmer for at least 15 minutes.
- For slow cooker, cover and cook on low for 1 hour.
- Prepare any additional garnishes while the wine simmers.
- Strain the wine into cups and garnish as desired before serving.
