Fudge Brownie Pie

Instructions
- Prepare the pie crust and chill it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Roll out the chilled pie dough and place it in a 9-inch pie dish, crimping the edges.
- Chill the pie crust again for at least 30 minutes before blind baking.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and partially blind bake the crust for about 15-16 minutes.
- Remove the parchment and weights, prick the bottom with a fork, and bake for an additional 8 minutes.
- Brush the warm crust with the egg wash and set aside.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (177°C).
- Melt the butter and mix it with sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt, then fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.
- Spread the brownie batter into the prepared crust.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool for 20 minutes before slicing and serving.
