Molten Brownie Pie

Instructions
- Prepare the pie crust by trimming the edges of the dough and shaping the edges using your fingers.
- Prick the pie crust with a fork and freeze it for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a baking tray.
- Line the pie shell with parchment paper and fill with pie weights, then bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove the weights and bake for another 10 minutes until golden, then let cool slightly.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F.
- In a pot, melt the butter and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar, then add cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Slowly mix in the melted butter and fold in chocolate chips, then pour into the pie shell.
- Brush the crust edges with whisked egg and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake for 40 minutes until the filling is puffed and slightly jiggly.
- Let the pie cool for 25-30 minutes before serving with whipped cream.
