Ingredients

The base

  • 24 ounces cheese-stuffed frozen ravioli
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 28 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup water

Seasonings

  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Cheese

  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and combine it with crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, seasonings, and honey in a skillet.
  2. Prep the crockpot by spraying or greasing it to prevent sticking.
  3. Layer the ingredients starting with sauce, then ravioli, meat sauce, and cheese, repeating until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
  4. Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours until the ravioli reaches 165 degrees.
  5. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving, optionally adding fresh basil or Parmesan.
