Ingredients

The base

  • 24 ounces cheese-stuffed frozen ravioli
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 28 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup water

The seasonings

  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons honey

The cheese

  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  2. Combine the browned beef, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, seasonings, and honey in the skillet and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Grease the crockpot to prevent sticking.
  4. Layer the ingredients starting with sauce, then ravioli, meat sauce, provolone, and mozzarella, repeating until all ingredients are used.
  5. Top with a final layer of cheese.
  6. Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours until the ravioli reaches 165°F.
  7. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
