Ingredients

The dressing

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2-3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • cup honey
  • cup stone ground mustard
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

Optional ingredients

  • 1 ½ teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion

Instructions

  1. Combine lemon juice, white vinegar, honey, stone ground mustard, olive oil, salt, and mayonnaise in a bowl.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until fully combined.
  3. Adjust the flavor to taste by adding more honey if too tart, or more lemon juice or vinegar if too sweet.
  4. If a creamier texture is desired, add more mayonnaise.
  5. Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
