Instructions
- Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients and mix well.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine almond butter and maple syrup, and heat until melted.
- Add the melted mixture to the dry ingredients along with peppermint extract, and stir until combined.
- If the mixture is too crumbly, add milk one tablespoon at a time until it holds together.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press it evenly into the pan.
- Top with chocolate chips and refrigerate until firm.
- Slice into bars once set.
