Vegan Chai Latte
Ingredients
The chai mixture

loose leaf black tea

whole chai spice blend

sweetener of choice (cane sugar, maple syrup, etc.)
The creamy addition

unsweetened dairy-free milk

scant cup
raw cashews (optional, soaked)
The topping

coconut whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Boil water, tea, and spices in a saucepan.
- 2. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes to steep.
- 3. Remove from heat and stir in dairy-free milk and sweetener.
- 4. Warm the mixture for 2-3 minutes off the heat.
- 5. Strain into serving mugs using a fine mesh strainer.
- 6. Adjust sweetness and spices to taste.
- 7. For creaminess, blend the mixture with soaked cashews until smooth.
- 8. Reheat if necessary and serve topped with coconut whipped cream and cinnamon.
