Instructions
- Crush the peppercorns, cloves, and cardamom in a small bag using a heavy mallet or skillet.
- In a saucepan, heat the milk with the crushed spices, cinnamon sticks, ginger, and nutmeg until it gently boils, then cover and steep for 15 minutes.
- Boil water and steep the tea bags in 2 cups of boiling water for 4 minutes, then discard the bags.
- Strain the spiced milk through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, add the tea, and sweeten each cup with muscavado sugar or honey before serving.
