Instructions
- Crush the star anise, cinnamon sticks, and cardamom pods, and chop the ginger.
- In a medium saucepan, bring the water and crushed spices to a boil, then simmer for 5-8 minutes.
- Turn off the heat, add the tea bags, and steep for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the coconut milk to the tea, bring to a boil, then turn off the heat.
- Strain the mixture and serve hot, optionally topped with whipped cream and grated nutmeg.
