Instructions
- Heat the meatballs until hot.
- Prepare the marinara sauce by cooking garlic in olive oil, then adding tomatoes, water, salt, sugar, oregano, red pepper flakes, and basil. Simmer until thickened.
- Butter both sides of the French rolls and sprinkle with garlic powder. Bake until lightly toasted.
- Assemble the sandwiches by adding sauce to the rolls, topping with meatballs and mozzarella cheese, then bake until the cheese melts.
