Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Sandwiches

  • 1 ½ cups marinara sauce
  • 6 pieces Italian Sub Rolls
  • 6 ounces shredded mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, eggs, soy sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into 24 meatballs.
  4. Transfer the meatballs to a wire rack on a baking sheet and bake for 13 minutes, turning once.
  5. Toss cooked meatballs with half of the marinara sauce.
  6. Place toasted sub rolls on a baking sheet and add 3 to 4 meatballs to each.
  7. Top with remaining marinara and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
