Instructions
- Mix all meatball ingredients in a large bowl using your hands.
- Form the mixture into palm-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs at 375°F for 25 minutes.
- While the meatballs bake, combine tomato sauce ingredients in a pan over low heat and cook for 10 minutes.
- Remove the sauce from heat and add the cooked meatballs, coating them with the sauce.
- Cut the sourdough loaf in half horizontally and place Swiss cheese on the bottom half.
- Add the sauced meatballs on top of the Swiss cheese and layer with Provolone cheese.
- Place the sandwich on a baking sheet and broil until the cheese melts. Serve hot.
