Ingredients

The base

  • ½ cup nut butter
  • ½ cup mashed ripe banana
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

The mix-ins

  • ¼ cup dairy free chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup chopped dried cranberries or raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the nut butter, banana, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until combined.
  3. Add the oats, baking soda, and salt to the mixture and mix well.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips, nuts, seeds, and dried fruit.
  5. Pour the batter into a prepared square baking pan.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
