Ingredients

The bars

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 4 cups rolled oats
  • 6-7 medium bananas, mashed

Optional mix-ins

  • 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup or honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, mashed bananas, and peanut butter, mixing well.
  3. If desired, add maple syrup or honey and any other mix-ins.
  4. Transfer the batter to the lined pan and bake for 15 minutes, or until the top is firm.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before slicing and serving.
