Oatmeal Raisin Bars

Ingredients

  • 4 cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6-7 medium bananas (mashed)
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except the raisins and mix well.
  3. Fold in the raisins, reserving some to top the bars.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and top with extra raisins.
  5. Bake for 15-17 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
  6. Let cool completely before slicing into bars.
