Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together using a mixer on medium speed.
- Add the egg, maple syrup, apple sauce, and vanilla extract to the mixture and combine.
- Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until just combined, then fold in the oats, raisins, and walnuts.
- Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the edges are light brown.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
