Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper if desired.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, dark brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and cloves.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
- Fold in the raisins until just combined.
- Using a ¼ cup scoop, drop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them out.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are light brown.
- Remove from the oven and cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
