Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×9 baking dish by greasing and lining it with parchment paper.
- 2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas, then stir in the peanut butter, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
- 3. In a separate small bowl, mix together the rolled oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- 4. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and mix until fully combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- 5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 28-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 6. Allow the bars to cool slightly before cutting them into pieces.
