Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13 baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flours, baking soda, and salt.
- In a stand mixer, cream the butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar until smooth, then add the egg and vanilla extract.
- Slowly mix in the flour mixture and stir in the oats.
- Press the dough into the prepared pan and bake for 12-14 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow the bars to cool completely.
- For the frosting, beat the butter and cocoa until smooth, then alternately add powdered sugar and milk until creamy.
- Frost the cooled bars, cut into squares, and serve.
