Blistered Green Beans with Walnut Sauce

Instructions
- Prepare the walnut sauce by crushing the walnuts, garlic, and salt together, then gradually add hot water until the sauce reaches a thick consistency.
- Stir in half of the Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and black pepper, adjusting salt to taste.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and add the green beans, coating them in oil and sprinkling with salt.
- Increase the heat to high and cook the green beans uncovered for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until they blister.
- Transfer the cooked green beans to a serving platter and spoon the walnut sauce over them.
- Top with remaining walnuts, lemon zest, cheese, and chives or chive flowers if desired.
