Blistered Green Beans with Garlic

The oil mixture

Instructions
- Preheat the broiler to high for at least 15 minutes and line a rimmed sheet pan with aluminum foil.
- In a small skillet, combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil, garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, and capers on low heat to infuse the oil.
- Toss the green beans with the remaining olive oil and kosher salt on the prepared sheet pan.
- Broil the green beans for 2 minutes, check for charring, and continue to broil for another 1-2 minutes if necessary, tossing halfway through.
- Once the beans are blistered to your liking, transfer them to a serving platter.
- Increase the heat on the oil mixture until the garlic begins to brown, then pour the oil over the blistered beans.
- Gently toss the beans, taste, and adjust seasoning with more salt if desired. Serve immediately.
