Instructions
- Combine green beans, butter, water, and garlic in a skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Cover and heat over medium-high until simmering, then reduce heat to low.
- Cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally until beans are tender but not mushy.
- Uncover, toss beans in the sauce, and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Transfer to a serving dish and shave Parmesan over the top if desired.
