Ingredients

The green beans

  • 1 lb Green beans (trimmed)

The seasoning

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • ½ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

The flavor enhancers

  • 1 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add green beans, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 4 minutes until bright green and slightly under-done.
  3. Push green beans to the sides of the pan and create a well in the center.
  4. Add butter to the well and let it melt, then add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir the green beans and garlic together, then remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
