Giant Italian-Style Hoagie

The bread and meats

loaf sesame bread or other Italian hoagie bread

thinly sliced cooked ham

Instructions
- Prepare the vegetables by cutting the iceberg lettuce and slicing the red onion and pickled peppers.
- Drain and finely chop the jarred mixed giardiniera and mix it with mayonnaise, seasoning with salt.
- Prepare a large sheet of parchment paper and cut the bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread the giardiniera mayonnaise on the cut sides of the bread.
- Layer the meats and cheese on the bottom half of the bread.
- Add the onion and peppadew peppers on top of the meats and cheese.
- Top with shredded lettuce, packing it down.
- Drizzle pickled pepper brine over the lettuce and season with salt and pepper.
- Wrap the sandwich in parchment paper and cut it in half.
- Wrap the hoagie tightly in plastic wrap and cut into 4 sections.
