Instructions
- Combine hot spread sauce and oregano in a small bowl.
- Soak the sliced onion in cold water for 10 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
- Spread mayonnaise on each roll and add ¼ cup of the Italian sauce mixture on the bottom half.
- Layer the cured meats, folding them for volume, followed by provolone, iceberg lettuce, and onion.
- Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with vinegar and oil, sprinkle with oregano, close the sandwich, and cut in half.
