Filet Mignon with Garlic Butter

Instructions
- Let the steaks sit at room temperature for 20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
- Season the steaks on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat a heavy pan over high heat and add the oil.
- Place the steaks in the pan in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Add the butter to the pan, then add the garlic and rosemary after the butter melts.
- Spoon the butter mixture over the steaks.
- Insert a thermometer into the thickest part of one steak and place the pan in the oven.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes until the thermometer registers 140 degrees F for medium.
- Remove the pan from the oven and let the steak rest for 5 minutes before serving.
