Ingredients

The tostadas

  • 6 pieces corn tortillas

The toppings

  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 piece mango, peeled and chopped
  • ½ piece red onion, chopped
  • 2 pieces tomatoes, chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 piece avocado, chopped
  • to taste lime wedges
  • to taste salsa (if desired)

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the broiler on high and spray the corn tortillas with cooking spray, then sprinkle with salt.
  2. 2. Place the tortillas on a baking sheet and broil until crispy, flipping once, for about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. 3. Top the crispy tortillas with black beans, mango, onion, tomatoes, cilantro, lettuce, and avocado.
  4. 4. Drizzle with fresh lime juice and add salsa if desired.
