Ingredients

The filling

  • 1 cup raw walnuts, cut into halves
  • 10 pieces pitted dates

The coating

  • ½ cup chocolate, melted
  • to taste flakey sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dates by ensuring all pits are removed and slice them down the middle.
  2. Stuff each date with 2 or 3 halves of walnuts and pinch them closed.
  3. Dip the bottom half of each date into melted chocolate.
  4. Sprinkle flakey sea salt on top and place on a plate or parchment paper to harden.
  5. Refrigerate to speed up the hardening process if desired.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy within 4-5 days.
