Ingredients

The cocktail

  • 1 oz Fresh Brewed Espresso (briefly chilled)
  • 1.5 oz Vodka
  • 1 oz Coffee Liqueur
  • 1 Egg White or 1 tbsp. aquafaba
  • ½ oz Brown Sugar Syrup
  • 3 pieces Espresso Beans (as garnish)

For Brown Sugar Syrup

  • ¼ cup Light Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cup Water

Instructions

  1. Heat water in a small saucepan and stir in brown sugar until dissolved, then cool.
  2. Chill a coupe glass in the freezer.
  3. Combine espresso, vodka, coffee liqueur, brown sugar syrup, and egg white in a cocktail shaker without ice and shake for about 20 seconds.
  4. Add ice to the shaker, secure the lid, and shake for another 20 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture into the chilled glass and garnish with three espresso beans. Serve immediately.
