Maple Balsamic Herb Chicken

Instructions
- 1. Whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic, thyme, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper in a bowl to make the marinade.
- 2. Place the chicken in a shallow dish or sealable plastic bag and pour most of the marinade over it, reserving some for later.
- 3. Marinate the chicken in the fridge for at least 1 hour or up to 12 hours.
- 4. Preheat the grill or grill pan on medium heat and brush with oil.
- 5. Remove the chicken from the marinade, shake off excess, and discard the leftover marinade.
- 6. Grill the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes on each side or until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
- 7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
