Homemade Peanut Butter M&Ms
Ingredients
The dough

roasted salted peanuts

roasted, salted natural peanut butter
The chocolate coating

dairy-free semisweet or dark chocolate
Instructions
- Process the oats until they are in small pieces, then add the dates and process again.
- Set the oat-date mixture aside and process the almonds and peanuts until they turn into a meal.
- Combine the nut meal with peanut butter and pulse until mixed, then add the oats and dates to form a dough.
- Scoop small bits of dough and roll them into balls, placing them on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
- Freeze the balls for 30 minutes to harden.
- Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave.
- Dip the frozen balls into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place the coated balls back on the parchment-lined sheet and freeze again until set.
- Store in an airtight container in the freezer or fridge until serving.
