Peanut Butter M&M Cookies
Ingredients
The dough

salted butter, softened to room temperature

packed light brown sugar

granulated sugar

creamy peanut butter

pure vanilla extract

baking soda

all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)
The mix-ins
Instructions
- Cream the butter and sugars together in a bowl using a mixer.
- Mix in the peanut butter, egg, and vanilla in that order.
- Slowly add the baking soda and flour, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the mini M&Ms with a wooden spoon.
- Chill the dough for at least 1-2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
- Drop chilled dough by scant tablespoonfuls onto a lined cookie sheet.
- Press the dough balls down slightly and bake for 11-12 minutes.
- Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
