Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until combined.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined, then fold in the mini M&Ms.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 teaspoon each, and place them on the baking sheets.
- Bake for 7-8 minutes until the edges are lightly browned.
- Press additional M&Ms into the tops if desired and let cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
