Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar, whisking until smooth.
- Add the vanilla and egg yolk to the sugar mixture and whisk until well combined.
- Stir in the flour mixture until just combined, then fold in the M&Ms.
- Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 9 to 12 minutes.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
