Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Melt the sliced butter over low to medium-low heat, stirring frequently, then remove from the stove once melted.
- Stir in the light brown sugar and granulated sugar until melted, then add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then slowly stir this into the butter mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the mini M&Ms and transfer large spoonfuls of dough to a lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 7 to 9 minutes, until the edges are golden and the center is slightly doughy. Let cool before transferring to a rack.
