Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Cut the bread in half horizontally.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt, and stir until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the two bread halves.
- Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes until slightly golden brown on the edges.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the bread halves with Parmesan cheese.
- Turn the oven to broil and place the bread back in the oven for 2 to 3 minutes until the edges toast and the cheese melts, watching carefully to avoid burning.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, cut into thick slices, and serve warm.
