Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and cut the French bread loaf in half horizontally.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, garlic, parsley, basil, oregano, and pepper.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes.
- Move the oven rack closer to the broiler and broil the bread for 45 seconds to 3 minutes until golden brown, watching closely.
- Cut the bread into slices and serve warm.
