Instructions
- Combine the shredded cheese with cornstarch in a bowl and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Add the onions and garlic to the pan and cook until translucent and fragrant.
- Reduce heat to medium and add the remaining ingredients, stirring continuously until the cheese melts.
- Taste and adjust salt and pepper as needed.
- Allow the dip to thicken for about 10 minutes, then remove from heat.
