Southern Sweet Potato Pie

Instructions
- Peel, slice, and boil sweet potatoes for 30 minutes until softened.
- In a large bowl, mash the sweet potatoes.
- Add melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, pure cane syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and evaporated milk to the bowl.
- Blend all ingredients until smooth, about 5 minutes, then pour the filling into the frozen pie shell.
- Bake for 55 minutes at 350°F.
