The pickles

sliced cucumbers

fresh habanero pepper

thinly sliced yellow onion

garlic

dry dill or 3 teaspoons fresh dill

teaspoon
mustard seeds
The brine
¾
cup
distilled vinegar
¼
cup
apple cider vinegar
¾
cup
water

tablespoon
salt
1-1½
tablespoons
sugar
Instructions
Prepare the cucumbers by washing and slicing them into desired shapes.
In a saucepan, combine the distilled vinegar, apple cider vinegar, water, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil until the salt and sugar dissolve.
In a 32-ounce mason jar, layer the dill, mustard seeds, sliced onion, garlic cloves, habanero pepper, and cucumber slices.
Pour the hot brine mixture over the cucumbers in the jar.
Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours, but preferably 48 hours for better flavor.
