Bold & Spicy Homemade Dill Pickles

Instructions
- Prepare the jars.
- Cut cucumbers into spears and remove the blossom end.
- Add cucumber spears to jars, placing 2 smashed garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon Dill seed, and ¼ teaspoon Red pepper flakes in each jar.
- Pack the cucumbers in the jars, leaving at least ½ inch of space at the top.
- Boil the pickling brine and pour it over the cucumbers.
- Add 2 drops of dill essential oil to each jar.
- Remove air bubbles by tapping the jars against the counter and tighten the lids.
- Keep in the refrigerator if not processing, and wait at least 48 hours before opening.
- If storing longer, process in a water bath for 5 minutes.
