Miso-Glazed Sea Bass

Ingredients

The fish

  • 2 pieces Sea bass (about 5 oz. each)

The marinade

  • 1 teaspoon white miso paste
  • 1 teaspoon mirin
  • 2 teaspoons sake
  • ½ teaspoon ginger juice
  • ½ teaspoon palm sugar or sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix the marinade ingredients in a small bowl and reserve some for plating.
  2. Coat the sea bass in the marinade and refrigerate for a few hours.
  3. Preheat an indoor grill and remove excess marinade from the sea bass.
  4. Grill the fish until browned on both sides.
  5. Transfer the fish to an oven set at 350°F (175°C) and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
